    Hi there

Its difficult to put a price on it - but in my views its still top dollar in Australia for some thing which will require total restoration.

There was a lot of chatter about it on the UK series web site.......but no bidders.

Wish the vendor all the best, as its the second time on ebay and the first time it only reached around the 4-5k mark from memory...

    All the best

I would tend to agree Wayne. It looks like a terrific starting point and seems very complete. But 9 grands takes it into a very niche area. That is to say a nut-n-bolt restoration which would probably never be worth more than $20K in the forseable future.

Nonetheless it is a lovely looking ugly duckling.

I thought this did not sell again but the poms are saying it sold for $5500. Anyone know for sure. If so was probably a reasonable price for it.

    Hi there

I heard the same rumour and I suspect a deal may have been done utilising ebay for advertising purposes....

And 5500k would have been a good price.

Will have to wait and see.

    All the best

Yes, to see that 57 88" get nearly that much today on ebay, 5.5K is quite reasonable.
