Thread: Canvas top & Rear door Pillar

i have a question regarding the position of the canvass top on the Landrover, that door pillar piece. It has a deep lip and im not sure wether the canvas sits on the outside or slides into the channel section of that pillar. it has to be there for a reason i thought its there to stop the canvas flapping around while driving. does it sit over or behind that galv piece?
