    There you go.
Not the best shots - the sun was a bit bright - but you get the idea.
Easy to fit, even sent me a needle

Very neat job - thanks for the pics

Looks like it's sewn-on rather than laced - does it come with holes punched or do you have to stitch it?

Well it is laced with a needle I wouldn't call it sewn with my talents.

Yes, pre punched and comes with a really fine strong thread - not sure what it is but it is tough. and a needle - and instructions!

Took about an hour to put on. Quite simple to put on but a little laborious. Good result though.

Thanks again - you've done a great job with it

I will probably go the same way.

    Cheers

Thumbs up 17 inch steering wheel cover update

Hi there , some time ago I asked about a leather steering wheel cover for my series one with the standard 17 inch wheel. Well to day my quest is over, I dont have to send to the USA for one as previously found my another member. Just trot down to auto-barn . They are advertising 17 inch leather covers, made by RM Williams no less. for $29.99. A lot less than the well made American ones and we are supporting a local Australian company. Note that they are probably made in china under licence, maybe even use our leather in the process..... Will check them out tomorrow and let you know of the quality and if suitable for our vehicles

Tony , you can make it look like new with just shoe polish, give it a try and you will be amazed. Add $100 to the price at least
