This project is still alive, except I'm looking more towards using a Range Rover for the running gear and using a P76. Not the same diesel reliability I know, but I know my way around a P76 as I've almost finished rebuilding one for my dune buggy, and I just love them.

The emphasis of this conversion is geared more towards fun now than anything else. I have a view gradually build the engine up with an Eaton M90 running low boost and Gas Research LPG - Target: 500Nm

I was close to buying an 86 Rangie down in Melbourne this week, but decided its better to get the buggy finished for bot $$ and garage space.

I'll start a new thread once I've had a chat to an engineer - hopefully in the next couple of weeks
