    Why it doesn't give me part numbers????

    you can use the petrol mounts temporarily, they will have a life expectancy of about 12 months under the diesel.

    there isnt that much difference in the weight of the diesel to the petrol with most of the components being the same.

    From memory there is also an orientation on some of the non OEM units, they have a "catch lip" built into them so that if the rubber completely collapses the mounts will go metal on metal and catch without the sump hitting the diff.

    hey, its not a setback, its a learning opportunity.

    FWIW I use 110/V8 county mounts in my IIA (2.25D and box). You need to trim the corners off a couple as they are larger diameter, however they work well and last a long time IME.

    Ignore Dave... (I do ) he seems to be inhaling too much avtur these days...


    As groucho said - diesel mounts on a petrol will be fine. Possibly more NVH (but it is a series) - AND they should last longer.
