1959 SWB Basic "Madge" repower with early 2.25l
well that was easier to extract than i thought it was going to be!
hit it with some penetrating oil for a few days
then this afternoon i dropped the drivers side guard, the battery stand and loosened off the radiator support panel to access the thing
undid the bottom bolts, undid the top bolts and used a nail removal bar to lift it out far enough to let me drag it out by hand
three hours and it's out....
i was expecting to be in full hate mode for a week, after some of the stories i have read on here over the years [emoji14]
