It's got the right numbers though. Does the rest matter?

only had half a day to play today

sorted the clutch hydraulics.... but the transmission is still dragging which is ****ing me off immeasurably..

did bucket loads of little things ranging from finding and fitting the bull bar to tidying up so i can start to get moving on the wiring etc etc

found and started cleaning the floor plates and the transmission tunnel parts.

ran out of galv primer grrrrrrrrrr

    tomorow is another day

start trying to free up brake bleed screws which should be a whole lotta fun i suspect..

another 12 hours spent hovering around the vehicle on sunday

    cleaning up floor panels

finding and treating rustspots on the firewall that have been missed up till now under layers and layers of paint and built up grimes etc

    sorting out electricals...

uncleho dropped down and spent a few hours sorting out the wiring behind the dash and made some headway while i made the cables and wired the heavy wiring in the engine bay from the battery to the isolating switch to the starter solenoid and to the starter

a lot of excess wiring culled and sorted

made up new brake pipe from reservoir to master cylinder

prepped and primed a heap of small bits and pieces

    time flys

wired the headlights in 4mm three core cable including new plugs on the light end and a new new-era dual relay on the other.

finally found a fan belt that fitted just nicely.

    dash is pulled apart

nos smiths dual gauge is on it way to me

new oil pressure gauge fitting kit on it's way to me from lionel otto

new brake light switch on it's way from m r auto

2 @ L683 lens on their way to me from england

going up to witta to pick up some boots to suit them next week or so from K B Classic parts.

uncleho sorted out a bit more of the in dash cabling, in line fuses fitted and a dual fusebox fitted to the firewall

ordered some new 12v 2.2w E10 bulbs for the dash from repco. 6 for $7 bucks is better than i expected

priced up all the brake parts and m r auto looks like getting the order when i have the money...

man you can lose some hours (and $'s) on these little things
