    Pedal box gaskets

I've just overhauled the brake and clutch master cylinders on my Series 2 and decided to check out the pedal boxes at the same time.

Can you source locally the gaskets between the pedal boxes and the bulkhead ? I also need to replace the top cover gaskets.

I can cut up an old inner tube and make some up but just wondered if they are readily available.

What about using liquid rubber, such as Loctite Black Maxx, or windscreen sealant?

G'day All, As Dave said, make them from 1.5mm insertion rubber available at any Clark rubber stores, simply mark them out, cut along lines, punch out the holes using suitable sized wad punches, dead easy n quick, cheers Dennis
    just like this

when all holes in place cut to size.

    Thanks guys,

Looks like either Clarke Rubber or an old inner tube. As I'm putting it back together temporarily (just to get it mobile) the inner tube will be the lowest cost option.....

When I put mine back together I just used a bead of Bitumastic and sat the pedal box on top of the bead.

It's been in place for 2 years with no problems, including when I had to take the clutch box out.
