    Hole in firewall

There's a hole in my firewall, about 40mm diameter, giving access to the clutch slave cylinder.

Does anyone know if this is original equipment, or an aftermarket addition?

If it's original, is there a grommet to fit, and what would be the part number?

    Thanks, Peter

Without seeing the hole I'll say yes. Rover Part 338027

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Well, for future reference, part AFU2627 fits. It's known as a blanking plug for a 1 5/8" hole.

Any earlier part numbers appear to be unobtainable.
