    Steve has a point.

    Look, I got what I paid for but it's not ideal!

    The "handle" to shifet the Centre of Gravity is next to useless and the thread that shifts the load is far too coarse.

    Years ago I MADE one of these for my MG ZB Magnette because the eng & GB had to come out together & that needed a tilt of 60 degrees. I shifted the load with an air ratchet on a nut that spun a UNF all-thread-VERY precise! BUT in a fit of altruism, I gave it away when I sold the car. (D*ckhead!)

    The concept is correct but it could have be done better.

    I just stand in the footwell and lift it out with my hands. Two of us of course for safety :P

    Couldn't find any blue nylon rope so I used green.





    Made sure I was wearing my industrial thongs while doing the job to stay safe (no, that's not me in the background....)

    I have done yrs of Pony Club duties & have been stepped on by a horse. OUCH!

    Nice shiny new crane! New purchase?

    Having done it both ways, I respectfully suggest this way may be better IRL- i.e. with a complete vehicle.

    CERTAINLY better with a Holden motor!

    Note: the load leveller has had its dinky toy handle removed & the load is shifted via a ratchet
