" Well I'll be darned yes he says. Its not a series 1. It is a very nice looking series ? Its for sale. I will find out how much tomorrow. Can some one tell me what series and year it is .

Mike,
I'm not an expert but it looks like a Series 2 or very early 2a 6-cylinder (from the grille type).
If you're not buying it please let me know....I have a mate a few Km's away who can store it for me until I find the courage to let the wife know I have another one......
Looks like a good find, wagon with safari roof.....
Best of luck with it.

Series 2a. If the grille is original, it is a six, which means it was built after 1967, and the narrow headlights mean before 1969.
So a reasonable guess would be a 1968, six cylinder 2a, 109 station wagon.
From memory, the grey was unusual for six cylinder ones though, which may suggest the grille, or at least the badge, is not original (could have been a previous owner's addition on being converted to a Holden engine).
