    Safari door lock

    Hi,

I am trying to find where I can purchase a door lock with key for my rear safari door.

It seems that the locks for the front doors are too long and interfere with the movement of the handle and so you can't open the door. Whereas the rear door lock is shorter and doesn't protrude as far.

I have looked at eBay and with a number of online stores but can only find front door locks.

Any assistance would be most welcome.

    Kind regards

    Bill

Are you after a complete door lock assembly or only barrel and key? W.

    Charlie,

Thanks but I have looked at that one and it appears to be different from mine, as mine has a shorter barrel on the lock and the door handle goes past the lock when you open the door.

    Kind Regards

    Hi,

I only really need the barrel and key.

I have purchased the std length barrel and its key that is used on the front door but the barrel is too long to use on the rear door as it interferes with the outside handle and stops it from fully deploying and as such the door doesn't open.

the barrel on the rear door on my car is shorter than the front door barrel and allows the outside handle to move past it when unlocking the door.

    Kind regards
