    Aftermarket hardtop ?

I saw this on Ebay a while ago, looks like the sale fell through and it's back again.
Is the hardtop aftermarket or from another vehicle ?

    Re: aftermarket hardtop

Hi, my 67 s2a also has this style roof. it was made by Athol Hedges in Rockhampton QLD. Unfortunatly its made from steel and rust is a REAL problem with them, also very heavy around 300kgs. My landy lifts up almost 2'' when I take it off in summer. Cheers Rod

The only one I see at that link is a fibreglass one, which is not the Athol Hedges one, but still aftermarket. I certainly would not get it, although it is probably quieter than the alloy one. I would certainly not get the Athol Hedges one - as 67 hardtop says - they rust! So readily, I am surprised there are still any sound ones about.

The Athol Hedges ones were fitted by Annand and Thompson in Brisbane to ones they sold.

Oops yes my bad. was looking at wrong thing. was going by my memory, seems not too good...lol. I just remembered seeing a s2a on there about 6 months ago it was blue in colour and it was the same roof as mine. Yes the one in ur link is a shorty with a glass roof. don't know much about them unless someone made a glass mould from a good roof and made it. Sorry for misleading post. Cheers Rod
