    WARN LOCKING HUB

    warn, not worn!
i am after one warn m11 locking hub, i have read all the guff in the other thread re locking hubs for series jiggers, and agree that they may not save anything, but possibly create more problems than any possible saving.
    but i have an idea.

i purchased a bunch of worn warn bits and have managed to cobble up one servisable locking hub, but things would be better if i had one on each side of the little series 2 a.
so if anyone has one the want to get rid of, or the well known bit that jiggers up in them, made from unobtainium into an unobtainium part,
    i want one.
what i am after is one warn m11 ten spline locking hub.

    Re: warn hubs

Hi, I have these hubs on my landy and ive been told by lots of ppl that they are the strongest of all the a/market hubs available. The Yanks really love em too. Cheers Rod

Ps. Mine have been on since it was delivered in 1967. no breakages but a slight leak past the square section o'ring on the front. vehicle has done heaps of miles and lots of hard work going by the condition of it when I got it....lol. Cheers Rod

I still haven't finalised this, I need a set of bolts to fit them to the car.

    I need a set of six at least 3/8 x 3 1/4inch bsf bolts.
it seems they are a bit hard to find.

Yes, particularly if you want them with AF heads like the originals! Of course, you can always do what I did for the missing bolts - got suitably longer UNF bolts, cut them off and rethreaded them BSF. Any worthwhile tool shop should be able to get you in a BSF die, even if they don't have them in stock.
