Josh, I have the manual - will take some photos if that helps. Do you have a replacement harness or are you looking to do repairs/make a new one?
Hi everyone,
i know i am asking a huge favour, but is there any one in WA in particular the peel region (Mandurah/Pinjarra area) who would be willing to visit me with there series 2 so i can copy the layout of the wiring?
or if there is any one who may be willing to send me pics step by step via email that will be most helpful also
willing to compensate your time in beer
cheers and thank you
(ps: if this is not the section i should put this please let me know)

....or you can buy a new loom from Vin Wire.....![]()
I have just received a new full Harness from vin wire, I just have no idea on how the wires run around the engine bay and the likes😊
It would be awesome if anyone could take a snap shot of there engine bay showing the wiring😃
Cheers for replying so quickly guys
Josh, when I did Ralph, I found vin wires instructions about as clear as mud and I have done quite a bit of electrical. I ended up putting both their instructions and the workshop manual's instructions together and it worked quite well when I did it by colour codes on the cables. Once you get your head around it's actually quite easy. If you need a diagram, let me know which one as I have quite a few variations here in the book, and I can email it to you.
Cheers Ian

i have sort of got my head around it at the moment, just opened the packets and got an instant head ache
i have worked my way from the back of the car to the front (less wires at the rear)
just doing it one wire at a time so i don't feel overwhelmed
will post pics of the final fitment
Ravenswood is a nice drive for me (was doing it daily when i was upgrading the pump station there), but my S2a has a Holden donk so may be of limited use for under the bonnet wiring. Also the wiring behind the dash panel is a mess with many joins and changes of wires after a previous owner made a mess of things. Probably better to not use mine as an example.
I'd be keen to see what you're doing though.![]()
going to use nylon cable clamps and a bolt to fit the wiring to the engine bay and so on.
reason behind that is they are readily available at my local hardware store.
