Thread: Chassis problems

hey guys ive got a series 2a that i recently bought but its got a problem with the chassis, the cross member under the gearbox (Series II type number 3 cross member gussets) is really banged up and warped, i think the previous owner must have hit a boulder or stump or something. ive been planning to rip it down to the chassis for a complete rebuild anyway so access isnt an issue. Anyway i was wondering if anyone knew anywhere where i could find a replacement part preferably close to sydney, or any general advice. ive attached (i think) a photo of the cross member. thanks
