Vic is the same however I believe NSW has it added to all standard unleaded, but would need someone to confirm this.

If that turns out to be correct it will make it one hell of a Detour to go to Brissie.

Ad to Bris via The Alice? Well not unless the NT has done the same.

I don't think that is quite correct. I believe the situation is "NSW may have it added up to 10% without labelling". I have serious doubts whether it is actually added to it for most unleaded as industrial alcohol is a grain product in NSW and with the current drought.

    Hi all,

Today has been rewarding - My project has been deemed fit to share the road with other users!! Registered as an Historic vehicle.

I put aside my wishes for a canvas roof and renovated the existing hard top. it looks great and the rims and wheels finish it all off. and...I think I'm ahead of schedule by a year!!

Thanks to all the comments and support from this forum over the years, it has been very reassuring to know there are like minded individuals around!

Still a few things to do....now I've been for a long drive I need to do a bit better tune...does not like hills:-)

but....really, I'm looking forward to some trips in and around home and I might take it out the woods one day to see how it performs off road!!

......and now I have a shed full of equipment......I wonder what the next project might be??

    Cheers

    Col.

Great looking car your going to enjoy driving it,they pull like a tank off-road. It takes a while to get tune sorted and everything running sweet..........but in saying that series land rovers seem very tolerant of bad tuning and run anyway
Re equipment in the shed........find another LR to save

Cheers Paul...........PS you thread helped a lot with my build..

    Enjoy.

I look forward to an opportunity to have a look at your car in the metal. I will be in Yass for Christmas - maybe we can plan to meet some time around then?
