    Galvanised chassis

Does anyone in Aus import or fabricate galvanised chassis for series vehicles?

Doing some major rebuild work on my long-neglected IIA 88", don't want to muck about with having the current frame galvanised and it's not in great shape anyway.

Someone on the forum imported one from the UK a few years ago.
From memory about $3.5K landed for a shorty.

There are a couple of companies that make chassis in the UK.
    Here's one http://www.richardschassis.co.uk/

Another option if you can find a chassis in good condition is media blasting then galvanising locally, problem is most galvanisers are worried about the rubbish in the chassis rails getting into the bath.
I had a Series III chassis some years back that had been repaired then galvanised.
