    Glutton for Punishment

Well, against my better judgement - I am about to embark upon another vehicle rebuild. I am hoping that it'll be just a few months' work.

She's a Series II. I'm not sure of the year, but definitely a Series II.

I haven't had any time to check over the mechanicals yet, but the panels are pretty straight and the chassis appears to be alright. What's under the surface is anybody's guess. The front axle is badly damaged: looks like the old girl has copped some real abuse over the years.

It's actually a shipping container, painted very cleverly. It just looks like a box of matches.

Hmm, given that you have already done a fantastic rebuild on 1 this series 2 should be easy

Well, I just hope this one progresses a little more quickly.

First things first: I am going to check her over, strip off the old paint and see what I find.

I'm thinking Bronze Green, but I'm not sure I have enough paint left for more than three coats.

Appears to be very tidy. Alltought, front suspension seems it may do good with some work. Other than that you are good to go.

I guess that the biggest problem you will have is finding shed space...

Will you be fitting parabolics to the front suspension?

    Cheers Rod

I would hazard a guess that at some point it was carrying a bit of weight at the front aka home made bull bar. from hell!

Hell's bells! That bull bar is ridiculous.

I am not sure how much weight mine had on the front. I have had this particular vehicle for a long, long time and can't remember whether it had a bull bar or not. I think not...
