One thing is my door handles ....door catch. I have a button you push to open the doors not a handle you pull up.This is on the outside, on the inside I have a chrome lever to pull up
I can't find any info of the door mechanism I have.
    Any clues?
I will post a picture on the weekend.

    So where is the picture?

Can you give us an inside pic of the latch? I seem to recall seeing something similar a long time ago but for the life of me cannot recall what it was on or in!

It looks to be a well built arrangement and possibly home fabricated using the workings of another vehicle door latch mechanism.
The chrome interior handle looks familiar, not from an early Holden is it?

Can you post a couple of pics of the "B" pillar striker please?

    Cheers, Mick.

    My first Landy was a Ser2 88" with a 186.
I lived in Woodridge up the road from you at the time.
    LOVED IT TO BITS
Spent LOTZ of time fishing Wilbinga and Moore river north beaches with it,loved sleepovers fishing north of Lancelin,it went anywhere.
It went on to be my brothers first Landy too.He has bought his first modern Landy,a D4 HSE,just waiting for the current owners new RRS to turn up.
    I want another 88" oneday.
