    Seen these before and remember thinking 'what do you expect from an ebay purchase!'. The difference is that this was bought for top money.

    Talking the lock plates, I once looked at a RRC classic.
    When I drove it the steering didn't seem connected.
    I looked underneath and the lock plate on the pitman arm was not bent over and the nut had loosened almost off.
    As I was horrified, I got my socket out and tightened the nut and bent over the lock plate tabs.

    The vendor seemed to have no idea that he was flirting with death.
