Hi, new member here.

Trying to identify an 88 with a plate near the gear levers.
It says
PRODUCED BY SYDNEY PRESSED METAL CORP. LTD
BODY NO. LRS 9923
SER. NO. 889923

It has another plate under that with
VEHICLE NO. 24308577B

I think it is between March 63 and April 66.

If anyone can narrow it down for me that would be great.

Also gearbox has number 170601259. I think this gearbox must be from an earlier Land Rover.

Any help would be much appreciated.
