Finally got around to painting and refitting skirts now the car looks finished.
While I was underneath I noticed a bit of play at the manifold/exhaust pipe junction hopefully the bolts aren’t frozen, also the Speedo has a habit of running itself off the dial after 50mph and staying there until it’s ready to work again.
Fairly exciting the first time it happened as I was going down hill.

This little dufor was worth its weight in spanner metal to get at the exhaust bolts(not frozen)

4bee I hear what you are saying they had certainly been knocked around and needed a lot of straightening

In my other vehicle with no skirts the droopy bit behind the rear wheels had been cut off, it was ex military
Maybe LR saw the light when they reduced the width of skirts in later vehicles
