    Series II - firewall question

    G'day all,

I've been offered a firewall from a 1959 SWB Series II to replace the somewhat rusty one in my 1959 LWB Series II.

Are they a direct swap or will I need to modify the SWB Series II firewall to suit?

The only problem I see, is if you have widened it at all.
    Same firewall I'd reckon.

You may have problems, unless it was a military, 1959 SWB were usually green while 1959 LWB were usually grey.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Apart from the colour - the difference only comes about with the introduction of the 6 cylinder and later in the 2a with the introduction of the single wiper motor.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with BLUE firewalls!

I must concur, the firewall in my S3 is RED, so I know nothing about fitting BLUE firewalls.
