in factory colours the pickings were slim for the 2 and 2a.

Most of you know by now that i'm a green type of guy when it comes to the color of my landy. It's the green used on the old toranas and kingswoods in the mid to late 70's.
So do you like the standard colors that come out with the 2 and 2a's ? Or do you have a fave color you would like to paint or have painted your landy ?

I'm thinking of painting mine a G4 type Orange
Sure I can!
It look's O.K. BUT!!! There were sooooo many bronze green ones.
Have you ever thought about what colour you would re-paint your car when you have all the coulors in the automative colour spectrum - it is really a hard choice. There is something to be said for a limited colour choice!!!!
Do you like the factory green of my RRc?
Well Ford Falcon factory in any case! (Everglade EA models)
Had to show you my pug Douglas as well.

I getting glasses!!!it looks blue to me Diana

My recollection is that by far the majority of S2/2a were bronze green for swb and grey for lwb. Hardtops were always limestone.
However, some specific clients had their own colours. For example, vehicles used by the Department of Civil Aviation were invariably yellow all over, and those used by the Bureau of Mineral Resources were all over either yellow or rescue orange. Prakla Gmbh had a fleet of Landrovers all over white, which was fairly unusual in those days.
