Four rims are ROK Australia 23160, which I think are the same as my '56 SI. The odd one is a ROH Australia (same company but a name change from memory) AYG 8038 (the 0 looks more like a backwards letter C). Is this from a later SII or SIII ?

All rims have 7.50 tyres fitted but I have a feeling the widest section on the 23160 was 7.00, can anyone confirm.

    Thanks, Colin

It is off a Ser 3 I am 100% sure

    G'day Hodgo

The 231601 ROK (genuine part No Aust Production) rims are the standard rims on civilian SWB's and are 5.0inch rims and designed for 6.00/6.50 & 7.00 tyres.
The ROH rim Part No AYG 3038 (genuine part No Aust production) are the standard rims on LWB series3's,(5.5 inch) and were fitted to all Military series 3's the standard fitting for 2/2a LWB's was ROK Aust and genuine Part No 272309,(5.5 inch) these were fitted to ALL Series 2/2a Aust Military Landrovers and also No5 trailers and anything else that used Landrover rims,(Parts Commonality) therefore the Series 2 Command Reconnaissance vehicles were retro fitted with the 272309 rims and 7.50 tyres.

So there you go Hodgo, you have 3 SWB civilian rims 231601(5.0) and 1 series 3 LWB rim AYG 3038 (5.5)

    cheers
