No, battery is in the usual place, six inches from the RH headlight. Simplest solution is to add the relays - just have to decide where to put them - either in front of the radiator or inside the LH mudguard under the bonnet - and decide where to take power from - choices are the battery (a bit messy), the starter solenoid (perhaps the neatest, but means running a wire from the bulkhead to the front), or the alternator (best voltage while engine is running (which is when you want the lights).
