shame it will go for scrap

This guy has got way too much money on this little fixup 2a, but it looks too good to go for scrap especially as it was a diesel powered vehicle maybe someone has the cash to save it.

scrap is currently worth (in Bundy anyway) about $100.00 a tonne. (10 cents a kilo) if it is delivered to the scrap yard. This makes it worth no more than a 100 clams less the cost of getting it to the yard, which values it at about $50-80 if he would listen to a little bit of reason

i think you would have to look at it in person but $400 doesnt seem to bad if someone is after those parts like the firewall and rear tub and tailgate dont look that bad but if it didnt get sold i think you might get it for $250+

The firewall doesn't look that crash hot, and Tubs and tailgates are plentiful and cheap.

I bought a new tub in perfect nick for $80 (and that was a rare swb military one with twin fillers!) I have 3 tailgates - all were free and I bought Gus' firewall off eBay for $150 rust free and powdercoated. I was the only bidder.

$400 is a rip off. I don't think I would even pay $250 for it.

Remember also, that they are also much worse in real life! The camera hides a lot of defects!
