Not so much in action, but I came across this beast while exploring islands in Indonesia.
Series III body with a Series II dash. I didn't bother checking much else. I'm back to that island at the end of the year for a few months so I'm going to see if I can rent/buy it off the local for the time I'm there.
It had the heater on the correct side I can assure you. I opened the hood to look at the engine :P
i'm guessing it's a bit of a "bitsa", as far as i can see that's got a Series 2/2a bulkhead...
still an interesting looking motor
She's back in action...well on the road anyway
:)
Matt,
Well, the first one was in Botswana, the second in South Sulawesi - both are S3 and are dirty, twisted to some extent and definitely off the road.................
Maybe you had something else in mind.........
Cheers,
