    Powerlines Track last weekend

Had a ball last weekend, but I think I may have a bit of work on my hands after so fun in so much mud and water...

You can't see it in these shots but trust me, it was there.

King Edward River on the way in to Mitchell Falls, early in the dry season 1999.

Those cleverly engineered gaps around the doors and the missing bolts from the floor panels let the couple of inches of water around our feet drain out quite quickly.

The quality of a scan from an old print leaves a bit to be desired.

    Series III after action.

I'd just done two river crossings then rolled down a slope straight into a huge rock. Next time I'll put her into low range instead of relying on drum brakes!

Had to get a rubber mallet on the drivers side front wing and chained the passenger side of the bumper to a tree.

It was a great day! Any damage I have can be fixed easily. That's one of the things I love about Landys. We'll give her a hose down in a few days and paint over any scratches.
