OMG I have been so stupid. It was there in my manual the whole time. 4 days I've been looking for these. It seems that despite the manula not covering how to rebuild a Salisbury, it does list the torque settings on the torque settings page.

I'm guessing once you have loctited something up to 42 foot pounds, you can't just wait a few days then torque it up to 66 foot pounds. Looks like I'm going to get to practice pulling apart my diff centre again.

Once the Loctite has set, I think it is best to remove the bolt; wire brush it; Loctite again and re-torque.

Were you referring to the bolts on the rear cover or some other part?

My manual has the Salisbury information buried in the axle section but no reference to it in the contents page!

    Cheers Charlie

I'm reffering to the 8 bolts that hold the two diffential case halves together. I took them out, cleaned them, Loctited and re-torqued them one by one while the centre was in the axle casing. All done now.

Same here! I have also just realised that there is a section on rebuilding the Salisbury on page 51-2, however as you said there is no reference to it in the contents section.

The way the torque settings are listed without "Salisbury" in bold, I fear when I was doing my Rover diff I may have mistook these settings to be for it and torqued my bolt's incorrectly.... here we go again.

The Locker and Truetrac are now in. What a difference, astounding! No problems so far.

Fantastic, really make a difference off road. Actually, they make a huge difference off road. When turning at an intersection if you turn sharply and put your foot down the inner axle bounces and does a burn out, besides that you wouldn't know on road. There is absoultely none of the traditional clicking or clunking when going around corners that people talk about.

When in thick mud on both sides of your rear axle both wheels can spin and send your back end randomly left or right.

I have trutracks and detroits on the 130.

I have massive understeer especially when compared to the 110. Im a little bit carefull around corners due to the locking unlocking noise.

Other than that its brilliant off road and it tackles anything in low range.

I bought mine from Locked Drive Systems in Sydney, Depends where the Australian dollar is Keith from Rover Tracks may be your cheapest option.
I did pick up an as new Detroit Locker for a Salisbury on ebay a couple of weeks back for $380
