    door lock barrels series 3

So for a series 3 ex mill where would i go to source door lock barrels. It has the fittings there but the actual barrels are missing. Is it a locksmith job or is this a DIY option.

I saw a full set of series three lock barrels in a parts catalogue, stupid cheap.

Of course I can't remember which supplier, but Australian.

They merely push in to the lock mechanism that's already there. They are held in by a spring loaded ball mechanism in the end of the lock barrel.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Roverparts Australia stock them. They aren't worth much. I don't bother locking mine as it's a canvas top anyway. I have a lock through my handbrake button instead.

I bought a couple of sets a few months ago. About $20 per barrel. Easy to source from any landrover parts dealer (except in Geelong for some odd reason. must be a lack of customer service thing)

Perfectly! I changed the shoes 6 months ago.

Funny you should ask, it probably saved my life on the way home tonight just 5 minutes ago. I went to stop at a busy intersection and found I had lost all brakes, I crunched her into first, pulled the hand brake hard and came to a stop a metre from a white van driving through.

I've just had a look, a brand new genuine slave cylinder in one of the front wheels has leaked all the fluid out. Bloody Land Rover brakes, I'm sick of them, it seems I spend an eternity working on them.
