Thanks Nightmare. So A 200 tdi out of a disco, with 300tdi manifold, turbo and oil pipes. Was yours a 6 or 4 before hand? Do you have a thread going on your conversion any where? Very interested.

my 109 was a 4 pot series 2a petrol from 1965 progress on it is painfully slow due to interruptions of no time and no monies at the moment, i have got a thread of sorts on the series2 club forum that i have erratically posted to Big Ears started

i've also fitted a 200tdi into my 88" bitsa there's the link to my 3.5day swap
been tinkering
in my 88" i found the crank pulley hit the front axle so to cure it i put it on the lathe and modified it, i also got four shock top mounting washers and put one above and below each engine rubber to lift the engine another 1/4" , i've not had a problem ever since even when bouncing her around heavily offroad
