    shock Absorbers - AC Delco

Does anybody have part numbers for AC Delco rear shock absorbers to suit Series SWB and LWB? I understand AC delco have stopped manufacturing shock absorbers and no longer has the p/n on their system.

Ive got Gabriels on the front? Ill try and find out what the p/n for those are?

Im trying to determine whether I have std shockers or 109 shockers? W.

    SWB Front: LGS062
    SWB Rear: LGS066
    LWB Front: LGS062
    LWB Rear: LGS091

Rears were listed as available by special request, but the bulletin announcing the end of AC Delco's shock absorber range came out about a year ago.

Hi Sprint, thanks for that. Another step in unravelling the mystery. I note the shocks numbers for the front of the LWB and SWB are the same, I would think the spring shackles would be the same on the front as well? The shackles are a bit of a mystery on my swb but I will post some pics and measurements in a new post to see if i can put that problem to rest.

    Thanks again sprint. W.

The shocks I bought(LGS102) were listed as the correct fitment for 109 Military vehicles front or 88 civilian rear vehicles.

    Thanks Bugsy.

I am interested in knowing some Gabriel part nos. because Supercheap Auto have a swag of Gabriels on their website but no link that I can find, that tells me what they fit Of course every time I look, the store is closed so I can't ring them.

I do remember buying a pair of Gabriels from them for my S1 at 1/2 the price the Gabriel agent was charging; hence my interest.

I downloaded the PDF from Gabriel for their dampers, only to find that it is an American catalogue in which the margue Land Rover does not appear at all

    gabriel Part nos.

Charlie, ive got gabriels on the front. they are the older model Gabriel Ryder LT that probably came out before yr 2000.

Part number, big numbers stamped on the bottom part are 737569.(Front).

There is small nos there which are a code that read: 9043-6 78-0149.

Apart from that ive had no luck in identifying them from anything on the web. Ive emailed prob about 5 different businesses and Gabriel themselves and they havent got back to me. Oh one did and said they dont coincide with any numbers they have in their recent catalogue. Not very helpful! W.

To round out this thread, I have just bought some Gabriel Ultra front shocks that fit both my 86" and Series 3 109". The part number is G63180.

There are a couple of ebay sellers or my local AutoOne store got one in for me.

    Cheers,
    Chris
