Thread: Series III Workshop Manuals

Can somebody please tell me what the difference is between the Landrover white and green manuals is, both seem to be by Landrover is one better than the other.

The later reprints came out in the green covers (i think), and sometimes in one or 2 books. Information is the same as far as Im aware. Ive got overlapping extracts from both the white cover and green and they appear to have the same info.

I find the Haynes easier to follow and fairly thorough and written for the home mechanic. Step by step procedures reasonably covered.

I find the genuine manuals good but they are written in the context of you being a experienced land rover mechanic. W.
