I have just realised that one advantage of a rusted-in-place relay, is that it gets rid of the movement![]()
Update;
I cleaned up the back of the flange + plus the chassis where it bolts to - there was a build up of paint and stuff which may have been holding off a little, I also tightened to buggery the upper and lower arms plus the drop arm on the steering box. Between those things the steering is much better, very little play at the steering wheel, and it no longer steers like a boat!
I'm off to the UK soonish - so whilst I'm there I might pick up new lower/upper arms plus a new drop arm... plus anything else that grabs my fancy!
