Glazing new door tops?
Is there a how to guide anywhere on here to fitting glass into a new door top? I have a bit of time as I have not yet sourced the correct channel for the sliding windows, nor have I painted them (have sprayed copious amounts of fish oil rust preventer spray on the inside though - swapped the spray cap for one from an old silicon spray can with the extension tube to get into all the corners and nooks!)
I need to know what to use to glue the fixed pane in place, if there are particular places for screws and any tips from those who have done it. Thankfully I have spare glass so don't have to rush the job, my old ones can stay on until the new ones are done.

I used sikaflex to glue the fixed pane in, and sikaflex to glue the bailey channel in. No screws at all. That was in 1998 and the door tops are still working fine.
IMHO the screws and screw holes seem to help the rust along.
