Don't attach it directly to the bumper bar, as it will bend far too easily and can bend the dumb irons together.
Look at passing the eye of the strap under the bumper, then up one side of the chassis rail across over the top, then back down the other side of the rail, to join up with the strap with a decent size shackle underneath.
Watch out for any sharp edges that may cut the strap and make sure to use a damper over the strap when pulling, in case of failure.
Pulling directly inline and under the side chassis rail, should be the least stressful way to pull on a Land Rover frame.
The back does pose more of a problem, if the draw hitch isn't up to it.
Don't fasten the snatch strap directly through the hole for the PTO, as the chassis has a sharp edge facing forward on the bottom of that cross member and it will cut the strap easily.
If I was forced to select a rear hitch point, I would look again, to go around a suitably strong part of the chassis, by going around the top of the mount for the rear spring shackle. Again! Watch out for any edges that may cut the strap.
Please note: these are only suggestions, If you are shown a better way of attaching the strap, then use your own discretion and above all, be safe! When pulling, don't charge off at a stupid pace, as things will break if unnecessary force is attempted.
Cheers Arthur
