    Hello from the UK

Greetings from Derbyshire in the UK.

Just bought a 109 LWB in a nice Gold colour which was originally exported to Australia in crates but has somehow found its way back here to the not so sunny Derbyshire dales.

    Off for a browse and a ciggy.Cheers

    Welcome

    Hi

    Welcome aboard to the forum.

How clean is the inside of the chassis, stick a hose in there and flush it out.
The red dust and mud collected there will do wonders in your vegie garden.

    Thumbs up

    Cheers chaps.

The old girl is remarkably tidy and the chassis is very good(the main reason I bought her to be honest )

Really interested in her history so I,m hoping to do a bit of digging and find out more.

    Welcome to the forum

A chassis number would be a good start to find out a bit about it, does it have a plate on the firewall with a number, eg: PMC, if so that is the Australian body number

    Cheers mate
I,ll have a look tomorrow and get the numbers

There is a plate on the front panel that gives the chassis number, body type and stuff like that as well as some stuff about being assembled in Australia with permission of the authorities.I,ll get the exact wording in daylight in the morning and post it up

G'day All, Not that I'm an expert on S3 chassis numbers, but that is an unusual type of prefix/numbers, anyway I'm sure a guru will happen along soon LOL cheers Dennis

Hmm, that is not a chassis number..look on the left hand rear spring hanger for confirmation or take a pic of the plate on the firewall

BTW you have not said what series it is, we presumed it was a series 3 by the pic you put up It could well be a very late 2A
