No Problems.. Most of those parts are available from LR Series in the UK. That's where I got all my new parts from..

Yes, I had a look at their prices and decided to save some money and make my own.

The rear window catch from them arrived today, sadly they only have the RH one and not the left as well

I got two (2) sets of window catches from a crowd on fleebay, called 'DLS Independent LR Centre'. And I checked to see if they had any more. But doesn't look like it. But it may be worth contacting them about it.. (Although, they have got heaps more of other bits and pieces, than they had before.)

LR Series also have the upper and lower rubbers for the cab as well. Popped them on mine, and they fit perfectly.

    Check around

    Hello from Brisbane.

I picked up the window catches from DLS a month or so back along with a lot of other parts. They were dear at around $70 delivered but that particular part is increasingly hard to get in the UK or US. DLS give a good service and quick to respond to inquiries on parts availability, postage or such like. Also credit back the difference on postage quoted against that finally charged which many don't.

I found the best option is to roughly describe the part in Google, see what pops up and usually the part number is there. Then simply Google "Land Rover 88888" or whatever the number is and see who is offering it for the best price and postage combination. That or directly look up Craddocks, Island 4X4, Paddock or whoever to see what they have.

    Works well.

    Cheers,

    Thanks chaps!

Yes I have done all of your suggestions but it looks as if the LH catch 332325 is now sold out - I did get the RH one from LR Series so at least I have something to copy It came with a lovely little British Leyland sticker on the wrapping paper,

Someone will have it out there somewhere - just a matter of finding them.

If you have no luck locally or in the UK there is also the USA. There are probably more Series Land Rovers over there being restored or on the road than here - become quite trendy. So, there are a lot of original parts suppliers and AULRO equivalent sites. One issue is getting them to post to Australia and the prices can be similar to here - but it might be that or nothing. For example, I picked up the dash indicator light inserts for a S3 from Louisiana - basically unavailable new anywhere else from searching.

Come the worst I think the LHS catch on my cab is still OK and I may take it off at some time in the next couple of months. PM me and I will keep you in mind.

    Cheers,

I also bought those catches from DLS in the UK and Safari Parts in the US. DLS was the better for price and delivery.

Looks as if you jokers cleaned DLS out; but two pommy sites have it but appear to want me to appear in person and give them a cheque or cash

Not to worry I can live without it, or have the fun of making my own; it doesn't look too hard,

    Cheers Charlie
