    Truck cab fixings

Can anyone give me an indication what diameter studs are used to hold the rear cab panel down onto the seat bulkhead please?

The parts book isn't much help in this regard,

    Cheers Charlie

The other question would be LWB or SWB?? As the mounting are different.

Whoops! It's a "76 S3 109" but the cab is off a 2A - the parts books says one part fits all,

It appears from the book that the mountings are the same.

The part I need to make is 330762 next to the back of the doors, not the fixings in the centre of the rear panel,

If you have the four brackets that are fitted to the rear section of the tray. The bolts used for the mounting I found are the same threading as the seatbelt bolts. (And they can't be too long else they will hit the rear cab tray, when fully tightened) I found them hard to get if at all. Plus you need a large washer on that as well. about 1-1/2" outer diameter.

As I temp. fitted my truck cab from my shorty to my 74 109. And couldn't for the life of me find the mounting bolts..

Oops, forgot to add pic on the side studs..

I will get some photos of the rear brackets (x4) when I get home. Can't find any here at work..

Sorry, must have posted both replies at the same time. From memory the nuts used for their mounting is 11mm, and you need a large washer on the bottom to cover the hole so that the bracket will hold in place. Also, a rubber washer is required on the top, plus another washer to cover the hole in the truck cab. Will post up pictures, on mine when I get home..

    Thanks Wolfy - greatly appreciated!

So the big stud is probably 7/16" or 1/2" then?

I don't have the back brackets either but I am sure I can cobble something up.

A photo or two of the installation would be fantastic, as I can't find any mounting holes/points either on the cab or the bulkhead, which look as if they should marry-up,

OK, took some photo's of my setup.

The large washer that sits on the bottom is a WP185L, with an inner diameter of 5/16". The nut is a NH605041L, spring washer is WM600051L, and the Rubber Buffer is a 338553.

I'll get some pics of the rubber, rear brackets etc. (Just need to find my spares, they are here somewhere) The bolts for the rear brackets (4 of them), are hard to find. (I was lucky that a wrecker was wrecking a truck cab, and they left the bolts, washers and stuff behind.)

Took some more shots of the rear brackets that you need, and the rubber buffer (It's the old one, but will give you an idea what it looks like.) I have some new ones, but I can't find them.

    Hope this helps
