Are the leading and trailing shoes on these identical?
If not its possible you've got them mixed up, or both leading shoes on one side of the vehicle etc.

you could try new springs or grind down offending shoe.

may also be a chunk in the cylinder preventing full piston retraction.

check you didnt get a leading shoe in the trailing position and vice versa, the pin placement is slightly different.

A general assumption that it is not the drums then.

swap the drums left to right.

(can still be the drum if one is oversize and the others not and hes got oversize shoes)

after much swearing and cursing last night I decided to pull all the new stuff back off and stick the old gear back in.... then had to readjust everything

I will check all this again and try during the week. Thanks for the suggestions.... I hate when new you think you'll make life easy and buy brand new gear, only to find out that the brand new gear doesn't make it easier

I will also double check to see that they are the correct shoes and corrrect way round.
