AP used to be a good brand but not sure whether they still make themselves or outsource.

From the above site they might have manufacturing in Italy.

I got a Series III kit via an Australian manufacturer along the street from where I work. Good price (I'll have to check what it was) and the plate was certainly a known brand.

I have prices ranging from $150 (Britpart) to $300 (AP & others) for full kits (pressure plate, clutch plate & thrust bearing). I am not after the cheap option, but I also don't want to pay the top price and find out the quality is the same as the cheap one.

the only time that occurs is when the Britpart part is the more expensive part

and then its not the case that the cheaper part is of better quality, its just that the britpart part is standard britpart rubbish.

Paddocks list the AP parts. Noticed a comment about AP being based in the old Borg & Beck factory and still B&B quality.
B&B still exist and are part of Front Line so Paddocks comments are 'interesting'.

If my calculations are right that is approx $153 for the kit!
Just be interesting to see what freight costs are as it would be the best part of 10kg in weight.
No doubt there are guys on here that buy from the UK reguarly and would have some idea!
