    Just got myself a 1978 Series 3

    Hello everyone, first time poster.
Just nabbed a series 3 ute from a neighbour for $2000.
It is in surprisingly good condition, the owner is an engineer and has installed a V6 Magna engine, and a 5 speed Supra gearbox.
The tray is a little rusty and it's slightly worn but is mechanically sound.
This is my first ever Land Rover, and 1st 4WD as well. Always wanted one and this seems perfect for me.

It is quite a hefty thing, along with the standard Land Rover bumper i would hate to be in front of it.
