Exmoor bikini soft top.
Hi there,
Is anyone using one if these Exmoor bikini tops? I am pretty close to ordering and just wanted to see if anyone had comments on quality and whether they are fit for the job of summertime shade and water protection.
My vehicle is a 88' station wagon that I am intending to use ad soft top in the warmer months.
Also wondering about soft top attachment at the windscreen top. I used to have a little 1lt Sierra softy that had a sail channel type leading edge that the soft top went into. What should a series softy have?
Thanks, Dave.
Hoo-Roo,
Dave.

Hey Dave,
The army soft tops ( ie most soft tops) had a secondary plate that slipped over the windscreen top and it was fitted with tabs that the rope went under. Damned if I can remember how it was affixed - probably rivets.
There was also a rounded plate that went over the doors, it also had tabs.

Thanks DJ, If anyone has some clear photos of the set up it would be appreciated. Google search hasn't been able to bring anything up for me.
Hoo-Roo,
Dave.

I have a all wheel trim one. Who I believe make them for Exmoor
I love it in fact my 90 has it on for most of the year. Keeps the sun off and the rain off
Mine is a mohair one.
