    Welch Plug size

    Does anyone know the sizes of the 2 (different sizes) Welch Plugs at the rear of the engine block and the rear of the cyl head on a Series 3 4cyl petrol engine, thanks cheers Dennis

    The block ones cup plug 587628 1 3/4 core plug 15/16

    Head 230250 1 3/8 There is a different size for different head no's the size wasn't listed.The no is 524765
    I changed mine a while ago It wasn't easy. It would be easy if all the sizes were listed.
    Now what is the difference between a welsh plug a core plug & a cup plug
    I hope I have it right
