its DIY, you dont have to pull much out to do it
drop the propshafts, drop the linkages off the tcase (dont forget the park brake ones, I always do) unbolt the inspection port, remove the gear from in there and then unbolt the Tcase (it helps to drop the bottom plate)
handle the tcase with gloves on and then just lift it back and off.
takes a couple of hours.
Dont forget to stick a block of wood under the bell housing and its cross member to suport the gearbox while the Tcase is off and to take the weight off the Tcase bu jacking the gearbox under the drain plug (I use a block of wood with a hole bored through it ontop of a piece of ply on a normal jack) while you undo the mounts.
