    Hello John,

Here is a copy of the mascot that one day may appear on the door of the Land Rover to mark the occasion. More along the lines of Robin Williams' Batty out of Ferngully - than the poor blighter in Biggles.

    Kind Regards

The hoses were listed as "genuine". I found the 4-Wheel Drive's price and yes it is cheaper. However, they only listed the top hose. No mention of the bottom hose the bottom hose being available.

I will explore my options further.

    Lionel,
It's listed in the printed catalogue I have here.
Two versions depending whether there is a bypass hose or not.
Phone them and speak to Jim or Bobby, otherwise I'll be visiting them probably next week.

    G'day Colin,

    Thank you for your reply.

I originally checked within their eBay store listings and I could not find the bottom hose mentioned. After your post I did another internet based search and went to their main home site without going via eBay.

Lo and behold I did find both hoses listed.

More than one way to skin a cat I suppose If at first you don't succeed ...

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

    Lionel,

4-Wheel Drives only have a very small part of their stock on ebay or their website, always worth an email or phonecall. They have a lot of secondhand parts also, phone and discuss and you'll be surprised at what they keep & can get.
They've been around almost as long as Land Rover (I think they started in the 50's).

Managed to make a detour today and get to 4-Wheel Drives

Top hose was genuine Land Rover, bottom hose was JRA (Jaguar Rover Australia) part number 624364.
