    Repair or Replace

    Hi All

Can you please have a look at the attached photograph and please advice me if I should replace the door pillar bottom brackets or can I soak it in antirust and fill the holes?

    Thanks

IMHO I would cut the section out and replace it.
It is rusted (as they always do) from the inside out and you wont be able to stop the rot from the outside.
Looks like you have rot on the footwells as well. Might be worth considering a fire wall swop.

Not sure where you are but you can get them.
Try the Wrecking section in Markets.

    Classic LR

    Craig,

    Hello from Brisbane.

It may be timely, but the January 2015 issue of Classic Land Rover has an article in its workshop section covering refurbishing Series 3 bulkheads.

This issue won't appear on the local news stands for a couple of months, but I could scan it and send you a copy if you like. My subscription copy arrived today.

    Cheers,
