how about going for an under the seat filler like in a series 1?
cheers,
D
Hi all,
Have a bit of an issue. I want to move the seat back as far as it can go so my old man (6' 4") can at least fit in the Series 3.
upon investigation, one of the big issues moving the seat back is the fuel filler pipe is in the way!
Any good solutions to this problem?
Cheers Mason

VicRoads VSI8 (Guide to Modifications for motor Vehicles) doesn't allow fillers inside the passenger compartment. OK if it was original fitment like the Series I.
The military Series II had twin tanks, might be possible to move the tank to the passenger side (I'd have to check whether that's possible). Problem is you might need to get it 'signed off'.
